Nicholas Johannes officiatingnwith burial in the prish (sic) cemetery.nHe was a lover of baseball, of which he also played as a young man.nHe was a member of the Reedsville Volunteer Fire Department fornmany years. He operated an auto repair for a short time thennreturned to Manitowoc Engineering for the next 30 years. He retirednin 1977. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Reedsville.nHe was born November 14, 1910, son of the late Joseph and Mry KrallnWachal. He married Helen Kubale on May 8, 1940, at St. Mary's CatholicnChurch, Reedsville.nJoe is survived by his loving wife Helen; three daughters and sons-in-nlaw, Jan and Nick Schiesl, Pat and Tom Burkart, Karyl and Jim Schaefer;none son and daughter-in-law, Gene and Kay Wachal; two sisters and onenbrother-in-law and a sister-in-law, Mrs. Mayme Peroutka, Anna and FritznKutil, Mrs. Helen Wachal; two sisters-in-law and a brother-in-law, Earlnand Phylllis Kubale and Edna Kubale; eight grandchildren and theirnspouses, Dean and Angie Schiesl, Michael and Brenda Schiesl, Lee Schiesl,nKelly Schiesl, Carri Burkart, Brenda and Sean Bastian, Lisa Schaefer,nBrandon Wachal; seven great grandchildren, Jason, Jesse, Joshua, JosephnSchiesl, Ethan and Alivia Schiesl, Ashley Bastain, many nieces andnnephews.
