a) Mrs. Emil Svatek, 84, of Reedsville died Tuesday afternoon at her homenfollowing a short illness.nFuneral services will be at 9:45 a.m. Friday at Reedsville Funeral Homenand at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Mary Catholic Church, Reedsville, the Rev.nWilliam Koutnik officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.nShe was born Dec. 28, 1877, in the Town of Maple Grove, daughter of thenlate Frank and Anna Vondrachek. She was married to Emil Svatek July 6,n1897, at Reedsville. The couple observed its 65th wedding anniversary innJuly. The family farmed in the Maple Grove area until moving to Reedsvillen20 years ago. She was an honorary member of St. Ann Society of St. MarynCatholic Church.nAmong survivors are her husband; four sons, Emil Jr., of Reedsville, Wencelnof Manitowoc, Adolph of rural Reedsville and Edward of Reedsville; threendaughters, Mrs. Alphonse Holschbach of Manitowoc, Mrs. Albert Meyer ofnManitowoc and Mrs. William DeCramer of Kewaunee; three brothers, Frank ofnKaukauna, Daniel of Menominee, Mich., and Steve of Greenleaf; three sisters,nMrs. Caroline Tikalsky of Reedsville, Mrs. Barbara Sinkula of Kewaunee andnMrs. Rose Schneider of Chicago; 20 grandchildren and 75 great grandchildren.nTwo sons, two daughters, three brothers and three sisters preceded her inndeath.nFriends may call after 2 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home where the Rosarynwill be recited at 8 p.m.nManitowoc Herald Times, September 19, 1962 P. 19
