Richard B. Brooks

a) Dick served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He was a member of the Zoning Board of the Town of Holland at the time of his death at age 70. Dick was also a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Askeaton. When Dick was 16 he started working at Brillion Iron Works. He retired on September 1, 1988 after 42 years at Kimberly Clark Paper Mill/Midtec/Repap, where he worked in the materials department, he was a tractor trailer driver and a structural helper. Dick was always lending a helping hand, loved to travel, enjoyed collecting old cars, playing cards, bowling, and teasing his nieces and nephews.
