Notes:

a) Anna died at the home of her daughter and son-in-law, Martha and Frank Schwab in the town of Eaton, Manitowoc County. Her obituary lists her maiden name as Anna Bettele:n"Mrs. Schweitzer, nee Anna Bettele, was born in Germany in 1848 and in 1866 she was married to George Stahl. Two children were born to them. Following the death of her husband she and her two daughters, Anna and Mary, came to Manitowoc County in 1890 and located near Silver Lake. In 1893 (really 1892) she was married to Carl Schweitzer and they resided on a farm two miles west of St. Nazianz. Two daughters, Sylvia and Martha, were born to them. In 1911 they retired and moved into St. Nazianz. Mr. Schweitzer died nine years ago."nThe body was waked at the Kaltenbrun home in St. Nazianz. The funeral was at St. Gregory's Catholic Church with burial in the church semetery.nnAnna died from "myocardial failure - arterosclerosis and myocarditis - chronic bronchitis"

b) George Stahl is father of: Mary Margaret Stahl (*1877) and Anna Stahl (*1881)

c) Carl Schweitzer is father of: Sylvia Schweitzer (*1895) and Martha Schweitzer (*1898)
